Prepare Enrich is an assessment device used to evaluate your relationship in terms of your strength and growth areas. PREPARE will teach you more about yourself, your partner and your relationship. The results will not predict your chances for marital success or advise you when to get married.
This model was developed by Dr. David Olson, President of Life Innovations.
Prepare Enrich offers several questionnaires designed for couples at different stages in their relationships:
- PREPARE: couples preparing for marriage
- PREPARE-MC: pre-marital couples with children
- PREPARE-CC: cohabiting couples planning to marry
- MATE: couples over 50 planning to marry
Each partner will complete a questionnaire, which evaluates the following areas:
- Marriage Expectations
- Personality Differences
- Communication Styles
- Conflict Resolution
- Financial Management
- Leisure Activities
- Sexual Expectations
- Children and Parenting
- Family and Friends
- Role in Relationship
- Spiritual Beliefs
After completing this questionnaire, you will receive feedback about these different areas, and will be given the opportunity to process these differences during counseling sessions. The aim being to:
- Identify and Explore your Relationship Strength and Growth Areas
- Strengthen your Communication Skills
- Resolve your Conflicts
- Explore your Relationship and Families-Of-Origin Issues
- Develop a Workable Budget and Financial Plan
- Develop your Personal, Couple and Family Goals
