Practicing Emotion Focused Therapy as a Christian

This talk came out of my attempt to integrate Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) with my own Christian Worldview. I will answer the questions, "How does attachment theory play out in our relationship with God - do we draw close, or pull away in tough times?" and "Does EFT line up with Biblical principles?" I will talk about ways to facilitate sacred moments with our clients so that they may feel more secure in their attachments to God.
